My background has developed across biomedical science, healthcare operations, entrepreneurship, medicine and finance. I began in biomedical science, worked in healthcare and professional services, built an e-commerce business, and later trained as a doctor. I am now extending that perspective through finance, valuation, corporate finance and investment analysis at Bayes Business School. Together, these experiences have shaped how I approach problems: clinically, operationally and commercially, with an understanding of how strategic decisions translate into real-world experience.
My work and interests increasingly sit at the intersection of healthcare, business and capital. I am particularly interested in how organisations decide where to invest, which services to grow, how pricing and capacity influence performance, and how resources can be deployed more effectively. More broadly, I am interested in the decisions behind sustainable growth: understanding markets, evaluating opportunities and translating complex information into clear, practical choices.
My perspective has also been shaped by experience outside conventional career paths. I spent several years away from formal employment raising my family, while building a business and contributing to my community, before returning to university and retraining in medicine. That experience gave me first-hand insight into reinvention, career re-entry and the practical realities of pursuing ambitious goals alongside significant responsibilities.
Today, I bring those strands together: medicine and science, business and entrepreneurship, finance and lived experience. They allow me to look at problems from more than one angle and underpin both my advisory work with organisations and my interest in helping individuals navigate growth, transition and change.
